CEO'S


These are two of our shots hypothetically taken for TIME magazine with a hasselblad.
The first is a cover shot with a CEO representing their product, in this case Sophie with her rice bubbles. We used a snoot to create a halo effect around Sophie's head to give the impression of power. We had to take into consideration the text for the title of the magazine above her head and other space around Sophie for text about other articles etc.


The second is a two page spread where placement of the fold in the magazine had to be taken into account. We used alot of negative space and the snoot to create some interesting lighting.


The hasselblads were awesome to work with although everything took alot longer due to us being scared about damaging them. Tethering helped alot with the medium format camera and saved alot of time.
